Terms of Service

1. Service Overview

Chubby Cat Teacher ("Service") is an English learning app for children. By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility

  • Children under 13 may use the Service with parental/guardian consent.
  • A parent/guardian email address is required for account creation.

3. Accounts

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • Requesting account deletion will result in the removal of associated data.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Premium features are provided through paid subscriptions.
  • Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
  • Refunds are subject to each store's policies.
  • Upon cancellation, the Service remains available until the end of the current billing period.

5. Virtual Currency (Churu)

  • Churu is the virtual currency used within the Service.
  • Churu has no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Churu is non-transferable between users.
  • Churu will be forfeited upon account deletion.

6. Prohibited Activities

  • Reverse engineering, copying, or unauthorized distribution of the Service
  • Unauthorized access to other users' accounts
  • Illegal activities using the Service
  • Unauthorized use through automated tools

7. Intellectual Property

All content in the Service (characters, images, audio, text) is protected by copyright law.

8. Disclaimer

  • The Service is provided "as is" and does not guarantee learning outcomes.
  • We are not liable for service interruptions due to force majeure such as network failures.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Service.
  • The total liability of the Service provider shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the Service in the preceding 12 months.

10. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.

11. Changes to Terms

If these terms are updated, we will notify you through the app and via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
