How to Delete Your Account

ddung users can request deletion of their account and associated data using one of the following methods.

Method 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)

  1. Open the ddung app
  2. Enter Parent Mode (top-right gear icon → enter parent PIN)
  3. Navigate to My Info → Account Management
  4. Tap Delete Account
  5. Confirm deletion → processed immediately

Method 2: Email Request

If app access is not available, send a deletion request by email:

Email: privacy@chubbycat.net Subject: [Account Deletion Request] Child Profile Name Body: Email address used at signup + child profile name

Processed within 3 business days with confirmation reply.


Data That Will Be Deleted

The following data will be permanently deleted immediately upon request.

Data That Will Be Retained

Some data is retained in anonymized form or kept as required by law or legitimate interest.

All retained data is maintained in a form that cannot identify individuals.


COPPA Parental Rights (Children Under 13)

Under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable Korean privacy laws, parents have the following rights.

  • Right to Access: Request review of all personal information collected about their child
  • Right to Delete: Request deletion of all child data (see procedure above)
  • Right to Refuse Collection: Opt out of further data collection
  • Right to Refuse Sharing: Opt out of data sharing with third parties
